Types of Heat Engine:
There are two main types of heat engine.
A heat engine is a device used for converting the thermal or heat energy into mechanical work, there should be at least two reservoir of heat. There is a temperature difference between the two reservoir, i.e one at higher temperature and other at a lower temperature.
Efficiency:
The efficiency of a heat engine relates how much work obtained for a given amount of heat supplied.
There are two main types of heat engine.
- Internal Combustion Engine
- External Combustion Engine
