A Refrigerator is a device which operating in a cyclic process to maintains the temperature of a cold body (refrigerated space) at a temperature lower than the temperature of surrounding.

- Expansion Valve
- Evaporator
- Compressor
The performance of a Air conditioner or Refrigerator is judged by how much heat transfer Qc occurs into the warm space compared with how much work input W is required.
